Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection

Hey you, yeah you...the one reading this. Please accept my apology. London, New York, Paris, and Milan fashion weeks have come and gone and no content from us! Well, better late than never as they say.....so here's some of our favorite collections from all events...

LOUIS VUITTON
The carousel that team Louis Vuitton set up in the Louvre's Cour Carrée was echt Marc Jacobs. The designer has made an art form of the fashion 180. Last season's fetish-y rubber boots sold 2,000 pairs in the first week they were available, Jacobs reported, but he was ready for a change nonetheless. "After the hardness of Fall, we wanted something gentle and kind, fragile but strong, too," he said, touting the workmanship that went into not only the clothes but also the bags. Matte crocodile coats painstakingly hand-pieced together so that the scales match; an eggshell lacquer bag made with the assistance of the last man in Paris still in command of the 1920's technique. That sort of devotion to craft would come in handy were Jacobs to land the top design spot at Christian Dior and the couture atelier that comes with it. No?

If anyone wondered whether Jacobs wants that gig, his pavé diamond wishbone necklace (a good luck charm, he called it) sealed the deal. Same goes for the clothes. Squint and you could see the vague outlines of Dior's New Look "Bar" suit in a minty green checked cotton nylon jacket and skirt. But it wasn't quite as literal as all that. What lingers about the collection is just how sweet it was—everything candy-colored and much of it trimmed with big lacy collars or oversize white buttons. Broderie anglaise dresses came veiled in pastel shades of organza; laser-cut lace tops and skirts were sealed in silk cellophane—the suggestion being, perhaps, that the contents were too precious to be unwrapped. After an interlude of matte crocodile motorcycle jackets that fell short of edgy in their icy pastel colors, Jacobs affixed 3-D plastic paillettes to dresses with crystals and embellished tweed skirtsuits with ombré feathers.

The fashion merry-go-round keeps spinning, but there was one constant with his Fall show: Kate Moss was the last girl standing on the runway. We don't know yet if this was Jacobs' Vuitton swan song, but just in case, might as well make the parting shot count.

I absolutely LOVE what Marc Jacobs has done with the latest collection. BRAVO!! Thumbs up from Lisa Couture. Report and images via Style.com

Nicki Minaj

The girl of the moment: NICKI MINAJ goes glam for a spread in GLAMOUR magazine:
Onicka, who won Best Hip-Hop Video for "Superbass" at last Sunday's VMAs, is rocking a black and white starry Dolce & Gabbana body-con dress in the first pic of the spread with the matching Dolce clutch and Brian Atwood black pumps.

Nicki said about idolizing Marilyn Monroe: "I've always adored Marilyn Monroe--mostly for her facial expressions in her pictures." In one of our fave shots, since we like Nicki when she's not doing the most, she's rocking an orange and blue 3/4 sleeve sweatshirt dress with a side cut-out by Jeremy Scott

Obviously she loves her some color--she donned a head to toe red look in a Vionnet coat, Louboutin peep toes, Falke tights, and topped off with Tom Ford shades.

While rocking furry Brian Atwood booties and a Mark Fast mini dress, Nicki claims she's not over the top in "real life" saying: "In my downtime, I'm the most low-key person in the world."

And about her insecurities: "We all have insecurities, but you have to know you're beautiful. Im comfortable in my skin, and I don't feel the need to change for anyone." Interesting.

You feelin' her spread? Im feelin Nicki's shortened bob and the shoot was good in general. But next time if yall want some cutting edge pieces holla at us!

Mtv VMA 2011

The VMAs have come and gone. The highly anticipated show was talked about, tweeted about and the main topic of music fans and fashionistas world wide. The big question: What is Lady Gaga gonna wear? To our surprise...she appeared on stage as her alter ego and not at all very Gaga-ish.

The show didn't live up to my expectations fashion wise. As much as I love Nicki I'm still not sure about her look. I loved the ice cream necklace and the harajuka theme, but still unsure it was a winner.

Katy Perry's style was unusual also and not her usual bodysuit (the blonds) type of look. I loved Jessie J's bodysuit and tights although we only got a flash of it!

The best performance of the night was definitely superman Chris Brown who proved he could fly! The medley of songs coupled with the dancing and then the mid air antics was totally electrifying. Hats off to his choreographer.

Runner up is Bruno Mars with his stirring Rendition of Amy Winehouse's Valarie which sounds like a certified hit to me!

And lets not forget the Queen's announcement of her pregnancy! Yes, congrats to Beyonce and Jay Z, a little baby on the way!

Heres a recap of the show in pictures:

BONUS GAGA: PEOPLE ARE FREAKING OUT OVER THESE SHOTS OF GAGA...

They're test shots from her Vogue Hommes Japan shoot with photography legend Nobuyoshi Araki about a year ago. There's a whip, nip, some writhing, what looks like suspension from a wall, plus a few wasted-blonde gazes worthy of Nancy Spungen. But aside from that they look pretty normal to us—for a bondage theme. We doubt G-spot herself cares much that they were leaked. Did Madonna flinch when that pre-fame, pre-Brazilian crotch shot surfaced a couple of years ago? Not at all.

Had to share this......PLEASE WATCH!
